Business subscription terms
Proposed terms for UK businesses buying the TaskMaster Pro monthly service.
Version 1.0 · Updated 6 November 2026 · UK business service
Paid-launch draft — not yet an offer to subscribe. Paid customer checkout remains closed until the agreement and operational checks are complete.
1. Who these terms are between
The supplier is Christopher Adamson trading as Fire Tree Digital, a sole trader at Unit 60, Basepoint, Yeoford Way, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8LB, United Kingdom. Email digital@fire-tree.co.uk. The customer is the UK business identified during checkout. Fire Tree Group Ltd is a separate construction company and is not the supplier of this software.
These terms are intended for a person acting for business purposes with authority to bind that business. The service is not offered to consumers. If mandatory rights nevertheless apply to a purchaser, nothing here removes them.
2. Forming the agreement
The public test site does not currently accept paid subscriptions. When checkout opens, the customer should be shown the final version of these terms, the data processing agreement, the price and renewal details before placing an order. The agreement should start only when the order is accepted and a confirmation is issued. A copy of the accepted terms should be sent in a form the customer can keep.
No account or billing page should treat browsing, silence or a pre-ticked box as acceptance of a paid subscription.
3. Plan, price and renewals
The proposed TaskMaster Pro plan is £29 per company workspace per month, billed in advance. Fire Tree Digital is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added at present. The plan is intended to include staff accounts, jobs and file storage without fixed numerical product caps. The public package description at the point of purchase forms part of the agreed service description.
The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. We will not add paid extras without the customer’s clear agreement. If the price or a material included feature changes, we will give notice before the change takes effect and allow cancellation before the next affected renewal.
4. Fair use and service capacity
Unlimited means we do not set a fixed numeric cap on the included staff accounts, jobs or file storage for ordinary use of one business workspace. It does not permit bulk hosting unrelated to that business, unlawful content, deliberate system overload or resale of the service. If unusual use materially affects service reliability or cost, we will contact the customer, explain the concern and seek a proportionate solution before restricting normal use, except where urgent action is needed for security or law.
5. Accounts and authorised users
The customer controls which people it invites and what permissions they should have. It is responsible for the accuracy and legality of information entered by its users and for removing access when a person no longer needs it. Users must keep their sign-in details confidential and report suspected compromise promptly. Fire Tree Digital will apply the account and company access controls provided by the service.
6. Customer content and data protection
The customer retains its rights in content it uploads or enters. It grants Fire Tree Digital permission to host, copy, transmit and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and support TaskMaster Pro or as law requires. The customer must have a lawful basis to enter personal information and provide its own privacy information to affected people.
Where Fire Tree Digital processes customer personal data on the customer’s behalf, the data processing agreement will apply once accepted. The customer must not upload information that the service has not been assessed to protect appropriately.
7. Service, support and changes
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Support is available at digital@fire-tree.co.uk. No guaranteed uptime or response-time service level is included in this proposed £29 plan. We may perform maintenance or make changes for security, law or improvement. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and explain any significant reduction in agreed functionality.
8. Payment and failed payments
When live checkout opens, Stripe will process subscription payments. The customer will receive the amount, billing period, renewal and payment method details before authorising payment. If a payment fails, we may ask the customer to update its payment method and, after reasonable notice, suspend paid access. We will not charge a different price without the notice described above.
9. Cancelling and refunds
The owner may cancel renewal using the billing portal or by emailing digital@fire-tree.co.uk. We will treat a clear email request as received on its arrival, even if manual processing follows later. Unless the final checkout states otherwise, access should continue to the end of the paid monthly period and no further renewal should be charged. Read the cancellation and refunds policy for mistakes, faults and refund requests.
Before paid checkout opens, we must publish a workable export and deletion process for customer content. The customer remains responsible for keeping any business records it must retain by law.
10. Intellectual property and acceptable use
Fire Tree Digital and its licensors retain their rights in the software, design and documentation. The customer receives a non-exclusive right to use the service during its subscription for its own business. It must follow the acceptable use policy and must not copy, reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the service except where the law permits.
11. Responsibility and liability
Neither party excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each party remains responsible for losses caused by its breach of these terms to the extent required by law. A commercially appropriate cap and any exclusions for ordinary business losses require legal and insurance review before these draft terms can be used for paid checkout.
The customer should not rely on TaskMaster Pro as its only copy of legally required records until export, recovery and service controls have been independently verified.
12. Notices, disputes and governing law
Send contractual notices to digital@fire-tree.co.uk or the postal address above. We will use the customer account email for service notices. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute directly. The proposed agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory law that applies. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue where lawful.
