Cancellation and refunds
Proposed rules for the £29 monthly UK business subscription.
Version 1.0 · Updated 6 November 2026 · UK business service
Paid-launch draft — no public payment is taken today. Paid customer checkout remains closed until the agreement and operational checks are complete.
What can be cancelled now
The public test site has no open paid checkout, so a visitor cannot create a real subscription or incur a customer charge here. Stripe test payments are fictional and are kept separate from live payments.
Monthly renewal once live
The proposed £29 plan will renew each month until the business owner cancels it. There is no fixed minimum term beyond the paid month. The owner should be able to cancel future renewal in the billing portal or by emailing digital@fire-tree.co.uk. A cancellation email received before the next renewal should stop that renewal, even if our manual acknowledgement follows later.
Access and final bill
The planned service continues until the end of the current paid monthly period after cancellation, unless the customer asks for an earlier closure or a legal reason requires it. We will confirm the effective date and any final invoice. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the part of a month already used.
When we refund
We will correct and refund duplicate or mistaken charges. If we materially fail to provide the agreed service, contact us so we can investigate, restore service where possible and provide a refund or other remedy where required by law or the final agreement. We may agree a goodwill refund in other cases. We will never say that statutory rights are lost merely because a customer used the service.
How to ask
Email digital@fire-tree.co.uk with the company name, account email, relevant charge date and what happened. Do not send full card details. We will confirm receipt and explain the outcome. Stripe may take additional time to return an approved refund to the original payment method.
Business purchase and data
This plan is intended for UK business purchases. Consumer cancellation rules are not assumed to apply to a genuine business contract, but any mandatory rights that do apply are preserved. The final checkout must show the agreed terms before payment.
A clear customer-content export and deletion process must be confirmed before live checkout opens. Cancelling a subscription should not silently erase business records without notice.
