Cookies and device storage

The browser storage used for sign-in and the choices that apply to optional tracking.

Version 1.0 · Updated 6 November 2026 · UK business service

Inventory to be verified before paid launch. Paid customer checkout remains closed until the agreement and operational checks are complete.

What is used today

This public website can be read without signing in. The separate private TaskMaster Pro app uses browser session or local storage for account and sign-in state. Base44 may use cookies needed for security and delivery. Google sign-in and Stripe checkout or billing pages may set their own cookies when a user chooses those services. Clearing essential storage may sign you out of the private app.

Current categories

  • Essential account and security storage: to recognise a session and protect access to the correct company workspace.
  • Preference storage: to remember interface choices where the application provides them.
  • Third-party sign-in and payment storage: controlled by the relevant provider when its pages are opened.

Optional analytics and advertising

We have not added advertising pixels or optional marketing analytics scripts to the public TaskMaster Pro pages. If non-essential storage is introduced, we will explain each purpose and ask for a valid choice before it is set where the law requires. Simply continuing to browse is not consent.

A live browser inventory is still required to identify platform-provided cookie names, providers and durations. We will update this page and any necessary consent control before paid checkout opens.

How to manage storage

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking essential sign-in storage may prevent account access. You can ask digital@fire-tree.co.uk about an item you see in your browser. Google and Stripe provide their own privacy choices on their services.
